I’m Fran Equiza, currently I work as Regional Director for Horn East and Central Africa at Oxfam GB, based in Nairobi. Also I’m a associated professor of the Open University of Catalonia.
I was working before in Mexico being Regional Director for Latin America and Caribbean at Oxfam GB, and before that I worked for Intermon Oxfam being International Director my last job. And before I worked for other NGOS, the public sector and the private sector.
I’m passionate about what I do, I’m a privileged for working in what I really love and what my life wants to be about. I’m a doer by job and thinker by heart, so I do aim to merge both and be able to perform to alleviate injustice, poverty and suffering.
